Prosperity or Catastrophe?
It is entirely our choice to choose to operate at the optimal safe point to achieve economic prosperity than taking the risk of a catastrophe. AGI or ASI may not be something that we can control, when AI becomes smarter than humans. Close supervision and monitoring of AI progression is therefore needed.
ERIC SCHMIDT mentioned we will achieve AGI in 3 to 5 years, i.e., 2028 to 2030.
