The SAFE AI Foundation is led by a Board of Directors, supported by an AI Experts Board, AI Industry Board, staffs and volunteers.

Board of Directors are senior people from industries with background in EECS and have strong interests in leading AI and can devote time, money, and efforts in driving and executing the missions of the Foundation. Board of Directors are officers of the foundation.

Foundation's Advisors are industry leaders who provide guidance and strategic directions to help the Foundation achieves its mission. At times, donors are invited to be advisors.

Honorary Presidents: The Foundation's highest honor is the Honorary President title, given to persons that the foundation wish to honor.

AI Experts Board: are a group of Academy Fellows responsible for technical directions and issues on AI. Experts Board will be consulted in the evaluation of candidates for Foundation Fellows.

AI Industry Board: are top AI Industry executives providing visions, directions, and feedback on industry's concerns on AI and its safety.

Academy Fellows: are persons known for their work on AI and are recognized by UK or USA national academies. The Foundation's Academy Fellows are by-invitation only and they are automatically admitted to the AI Experts Board.

Foundation Fellows: are people working on AI and recognized by the foundation for their outstanding work related to AI and its safety. Foundation fellows are evaluated and elected on application. This fellows program is still in preparation.
