AI Impact Roadmap

Stage 1 - AI Build Phase

We are now at STAGE 01 - the AI Build Phase. Despite the relatively short number of years, the AI industries have undertaken a lot of work and investments into building usable products on AI, such as:

1. ChatGPT / Gemini / Llama

2. AI Agents

3. GenAI

4. Robots

Observation #1: In this BUILD Phase, more AI engineers are needed than before. Hence, there is a surge in hiring talented AI engineers.

Observation #2: As a result of new AI inventions, more startups are created. Hence, there is an increase in the number of entrepreneurs and investors.

Observation #3: As AI automation enters the market, companies REDUCE workers and are replaced by AI.

Stage 2 - Massive Deployment & Use Phase

After the BUILD PHASE, STAGE 02 is the MASSIVE DEPLOYMENT & USE Phase. When more AI products are developed, deployed and used, this stage results in:

1. Gradual REDUCTION in AI Build Engineers

2. REDUCTION in Entrepreneurs & Investors

3. REDUCTION in AI Architects and Managers

Observation #1: When most AI products have been built, deployed, sold and used, there are fewer need for AI Build engineers, Architects, etc.

Observation #2: The startups scene will change as AI enters from "NEW" to "MATURE" investment status, with a reduction for entrepreneurs and investors.

Observation #3: With AI availability reaching massive volume, we will likely see a larger REDUCTION in workers, as AI automation capabilities reach more sectors, making human workers less appealing than AI.

This is the stage where society will see massive AI usage but also witness a LARGE number of displaced workers. This is also the time where AI misuse emerges and can become prevalent, due to a large user base.

Stage 3 - The New AI Era

STAGE 03 is the NEW ERA OF AI. Assuming no catastrophic events happen and AI products are safely and widely used by society, we enter the final stage - the Era of AI. When more AI products are developed, deployed and use, this stage results in:

1. Creation of AI-powdered lean enterprises

2. An AI-driven advanced society

3. An improvement in the quality of life

4. Economic prosperity

NOTE: If we are able to harness the power of AI safely to enhance of our quality of life, we would have made it and achieved our goal. However, what has been transformed is a NEW SOCIETY, with a changed JOB market, a presence of lean and smart enterprises, and successful co-existence of AI and Humans. This AI-Human co-existence must exhibit both safety and harmony.
