The SAFE AI Investigator Program - The foundation believes that AI is not only for the nerds or techies. It is for all.
If you have a computer science or engineering or technology law, governance, strategy and policy background and is knowledgeable about AI and its implementation, usage, and would like to do something good for our society, for charity, and not for money or fame, then this is the place for you.
The foundation would like to admit SAFE AI Investigators to work on various topics in SAFE AI. What is SAFE AI? The investigator can propose a topic to work on, how he/she plans to approach the issue, the duration of his/her investigations and the possible outcome. Findings of the investigations (if fruitful) may be shared with the public.
The foundation looks at AI Safety issues that will affect the public, AI users, and the impact of AI on society, quality of life and the economy. Investigations are not limited to AI safety computer science research, but also on AI policy, governance, ethics, education, compliance, security, etc.

We will review your proposal and send you a decision within one week. Once approved, you are officially a SAFE AI Foundation SAFE AI Investigator! You are then authorized to use the "SAFE AI Investigator Badge" (left) on your website, on Linkedin and investigator title on your CV.
If you are a Masters or Ph.D. student working on a research related to AI Safety, you are welcome to submit to us your details for registration and approval for an AI Investigator status.
We plan to publish a "Directory of all SAFE AI Foundation SAFE AI Investigators" annually to acknowledge their efforts and highlight their work.
NOTE: Your ideas and initial investigation may turn into a promising startup and if so, we will connect you to VCs.
